Anita Sebastian is a local writer and editor. She is a zoologist by training from the National University of Singapore. The Ranger Anne series is inspired from her time working at the Night Safari in Singapore many years ago. This first set of four books explores Anne 's relationship with the animals under her care. She plays with a leopard, dives with the fishes, does her own research on flamingoes and tries to raise a baby python. Each book also contains interesting facts about animals and conservation.
